Brian + Elizabeth Appelbaum

Brian and Elizabeth met in high school and always dreamed of building a life rooted in adventure, family, and the outdoors. What started as teenage memories—bonfires, weekend hikes, camping and glamping trips, and long talks about the future—has grown into a full life together with three kids and a shared love for creating experiences that bring people closer.

Elizabeth spent years as a teacher and reading specialist before becoming a stay-at-home mom, where she now pours her heart into raising her own little crew and dreaming up the kind of moments families will remember forever. Brian runs his own construction business as a general contractor and works as a property manager, bringing an eye for detail and a talent for creating spaces that feel both beautiful and functional.

After discovering Timberline Glamping Company through a friend who suggested a fun night out at French Creek, The Appelbaum's realized that taking on this opportunity alongside the Timberline family was the natural next chapter for them—a way to blend their love of the outdoors with their passion for building something meaningful. They are excited to create an escape where families, couples, and friends can slow down and experience nature without losing the comforts that make time away feel special.
